Community Support Service

what is it?

Community Support Service focuses on reducing social isolation of any aged Granite Belt resident and to build the Granite Belt communities capacity by:

  • Linking people with formal and informal supports eg. events, activities, support services, information, advice, advocacy, and referral etc.
  • Creating social connections and inclusion by a diverse range of methodologies
  • Integrating local community action via community engagement or community development where GBNC either leads or contributes to projects that are for the benefit of the whole community or a specific group depending on the issue identified.

how does it work?
